WHY OBEY AUTHORITY & LAWS

1 TIMOTHY 2:1-2 instructs believers in the Bible to pray for ALL people, especially those in authority. We are not commanded to pray, especially those in authority.
Specifically, it states:
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made of all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."
This passage highlights the importance of praying for leaders to enable a peaceful and righteous society.
WHEN NOT TO OBEY AUTHORITY & LAWS?
